Zaker Syed is a LitRPG author, lifelong gamer, and unapologetic progression addict. After tearing through nearly 800 novels, he decided to stop leveling as a reader and start building his own worlds—complete with ruthless systems, granular stats, and characters who have to bleed for every ounce of power. His stories focus on hard-earned progression, brutal apocalyptic survival, and the kind of growth that always comes with a steep cost. Born in India and now based in California, Zaker lives with his wife and daughters—who (so far) have not unlocked any overpowered abilities.
